Mission TenForty has been touching the lives of people throughout the South with their music. Original lyrics from a positive Christian perspective combined with contemporary alternative rhythms to produce songs that uplift, encourage, and challenge. The members of Mission TenForty have answered God's calling to serve Him with their abilities. The songs on their debut CD, Life, are written from hearts that overflow with the desire to worship Christ; the lyrics are scriptural and the music is inspired.
Mission TenForty is passionate about mobilizing others to worldwide evangelism. The band's name refers to the area of the world that falls between 10 degrees and 40 degrees latitude north of the equator. This region of the earth, designated as the "10/40 Window," is the most populated and the most widely unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through their music and personal testimonies, Mission TenForty desires to spread awareness of the need for global outreach to the body of Christ, while also offering a message of salvation to the lost of our own country.
